Become Elects

We were saved by Jesus Christ. He is our Lord and Saviour, our Way, Truth and Life.
Before our Lord Jesus Christ returned to the Father around 27 AD (based on our research), He said:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18 NIV
What is the meaning of being a disciple? The Lord has set the definition of the disciple here:
” Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their Cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done.” Matthew 16:24-27 NIV
We then ask ourselves the following questions:
Our Lord also said: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:13-14 NIV
Our Lord said that only a few will find eternal life. Who are those few?
We believe the answers to the above questions can only come from walking the disciple journey of the narrow road.
We also believe that our Lord’s return is very soon. He said that no one knows the exact day and hour of His return; only the Heavenly Father knows.
But He has asked us to interpret the end-time signs and gave us the book of Revelation to study.
Jesus said: “If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the Elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the Elect. See, I have told you ahead of time.” Matthew 24:22-25 (NIV)
Paul also said: “For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 NIV
Lord Jesus said that the Elects would be there during His return by the end time, and Paul saw that as an eyewitness.
The Elect would stand firm to the end. We would like to be the Elects. What about you?
Through the messages from our Lord, the main condition to be the Elect is to trust and obey His commands.
That’s what we will do here. We will encourage and challenge each other on this narrow road journey with our eyes on the Cross.

- What does denying oneself mean?
- What does picking up a cross and following Jesus mean?
- What does trying to conserve one’s life mean?
- What does giving up one’s life for Jesus mean?
- Some preachers seem to gain the approval of the whole world, did they forfeit their souls?
- Who is interested in the exchange for the soul?
