No Rupture

“Immediately after the distress of those days “ ‘the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. And He will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” Matthew 24:29-31 (NIV)

Would you like to be one of those elects gathered by the angels of our Lord when He shows up on the cloud with His heavenly force? My family and I would like to be part of that. It is the main reason for the Becomelects ministry; if it is up to us, we want you to be a part of that, too. Those still thinking about the Rapture for the church may want to rethink that because our Lord is just and cannot be mocked. Please refer to the Parable of the Weeds (Matthew 13:24), the Parable of the Net (Matthew 13:47) and the Sheep and the Goats (Matthew 25:31). There are more parables, and our Lord made sure that there can be no misinterpretations, for there will be no Rupture for the church.

I understood the elects to be the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ, those who walk on the Narrow Road carrying a Cross, those who deny themselves for our Lord’s name, those who forgive so they can be forgiven, those who pick our Lord’s side only, those who humble themselves daily, those who try to be pure in heart like little children, those who imitate Him to love and expect nothing in return. In the Daily Cross, we have not asked you to do any impossible mission; although some calls to action are not easy, we have advised how to make it less difficult by taking it one day at a time. It is a journey less travelled by most. Our Lord made it clear that only a few will be on this journey. We have also guessed the number of the few, but it doesn’t matter. We believe it is not about the destination and only about the journey. The destination is a by-product of a journey with trust and obedience. Let Him decide because His plan is always the best.

Today’s Daily Cross recaps our mission. Reminders are important because our memory is short, and our flesh is weak. I want to welcome new readers, and I hope our Lord will continue to use this ministry to share wisdom and discernment with those who need it—and I’m one of them. May our Lord Jesus Christ strengthen your faith and remove all your fears so you can stand firm until His return.
