Be Courageous

It seems the world has reached a point where we are constantly controlled by what we do, read, watch, and think. Many of those are against our faith. There is so much hatred and resentment against each other. There may seem to be no turning back, which could discourage anyone. We saw pestilence, wars, famine, and natural disasters, and one would have to ask, is the time near for our Lord’s return? Some would argue that the Rapture has not happened yet. The Christians are supposed to be taken and be saved from suffering through the Tribulation. As a new believer 12 years ago, I was confused when I heard this doctrine. Weren’t Christians called for suffering and persecution for our Lord’s sake?

I often come to these verses:

“At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. “So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ a spoken of through the prophet Daniel—let the reader understand— then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the field go back to get their cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time.” Matthew 24:10-21 (NIV)

“Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed— in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 (NIV)

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.” Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV)

No one knows the day and time of Jesus’s return, but we were asked to interpret the signs and were given the Book of Revelation to study. Our Lord said that the Elects would be there during the End Times. Paul saw what would happen: The Elects would meet the Lord in mid-air upon His return. We want to be those Elects standing firm to the end.

“When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him. So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt, where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: “Out of Egypt I called my son. When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi. Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more.” Matthew 2:13-18 (NIV)

Based on our research, Herod the Great died in 4 BC. Historical data showed that Herod died a painful death one year after he ordered the execution of children under two years old in the Ramah area. That led to the calculation of Jesus’s birth year in 6 BC. Jesus walked on earth as one of us for 33 years. His departure back to the Heavenly Father was likely in 27 AD.

“Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.” Hosea 6:1-2

“But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8-9 (KJV)

Based on the above scripture, our Lord shall return in two days to revive us which is 2,000 years on earth.

27 AD + 2,000 years = 2027 AD

After His return, there shall be 1,000 years of peace on earth (the third day) until He restores everything.

We believe the return of our Lord and Savior is soon.

We will share more information from our research about the seven years of Tribulation. According to our investigation, the Tribulation started in the Spring of 2020, when the first seal was broken with the arrival of the White Horse with the False Prophet, and the Plague (COVID).

The return of our Lord will be the most important event in our lifetime as disciples of Jesus Christ. When the focus is on the Lord, it will be impossible to be discouraged by anything. Therefore, be courageous because we are blessed to be in this generation and may witness the greatest event in human history.

I look forward with great anticipation.
