For Many Will Come In My Name, Saying “I Am The Christ”

“For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.” Matthew 24:5-8 (NKJV)

I believe our Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon. That is the main reason for this ministry. We have talked about a TV show called “The Chosen”, and they are in Season 4. This show has millions of followers and has made a lot of money. I’m not against people making money. I also have a job to make a living. However, one thing I can never do is to portray as our Lord Jesus Christ and call Him Lord at the same time.

Today’s Daily Cross is one more warning for fans of “The Chosen” TV show.

“But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth’ father,’ for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Messiah. The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Matthew 23:8-11 (NIV)

When our Lord Jesus Christ said that there is only one Teacher and one Instructor, did He mean anyone who portrays Him can also be called a Teacher and an Instructor? Or did He mean only Him alone?

I have read the comments of many show followers who see The Chosen’s actor’s face who plays our Lord Jesus Christ during their prayers. A sinner’s face instead of the One who knew no sin. I believe there is a reason why our Lord walked on earth 2,000 years ago so no one could know what he looked like, and no one could worship a face or a picture of Him.

Also, the Chosen TV show is rewriting the Bible. AI is doing the same. AI is soulless and another danger for the ‘I Am The Christ’ movement. We will talk about AI later. What would you think if someone portrayed you and said things you didn’t say or do? If you don’t like that, imagine how our King of kings and Lord of lords would feel. Would you say things on TV that any European kings or queens did not say so you can make money? I think there could be legal consequences for doing so. There will be a heavenly consequence claiming the things that our Lord did not say or do. Whichever emotions you may have as a Christian by watching a show, it is only about you. As a disciple, I have come to know that this is no longer about me anymore. This is all about our Lord Jesus Christ who died on the Cross for you and me.

“I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.” Revelation 22:18-19 (NIV)

Our Lord Jesus Christ needs no introduction, much less an untruthful representation by an actor imitating a fake accent who is a sinner. The Bible has to be the only source from which we come to know and love our Lord and Savior. I pray that you may stop watching The Chosen if not already done so, and pray for forgiveness and healing.

Our Lord is merciful. If He could heal me, He can heal you too.
