Midweek Prayer – For Faith & Humility

^“See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone. Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies, but test everything; hold fast what is good. Abstain from every form of evil.” 1 Thessalonians 5:15-22 (NIV)

We have made many calls to action in Daily Cross. As countermeasures, we will start praying at midweek. So you know, we are in a daily battle against the enemy and his minions, and the flesh to pick up our cross and follow our Lord. This is a journey of faith and humility.

Let’s pray.

“Dear Heavenly Father, Lord Jesus Christ,

Thank you for everything in our lives. Thank you for your love and mercy.

Thank you for not remembering our sins anymore because we have repented.

Help us to forgive others if we still cannot do it ourselves because our flesh is weak.

Give us a gentle and humble heart like yours and purify our hearts as you see fit so we can walk with you blameless.

Increase our faith and give us wisdom to test the spirits for things we see, hear and read in this world.

Lead us out of the world’s danger and protect us and our families from evil ones until your return.

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
